Wharton EMBA Books Arrived

Books include account and micro economics.

I should start reading them soon.

Wharton West EMBA

Last week Sab and I went to Palo Alto for Wharton's reception. We met a lot of past, current and new students. The event was quite refreshing. It definitely rejuvenated us to reach out to make new friends. The tuition may be expensive, but I have to say that such a program is the most effective way to know many highly accomplished people really well.

CAIA Level 2 Result Coming Soon

Time flies. Next Monday I will be getting my CAIA Level 2 result.

Out of all the five exams I took in the past three years, this one is not a slam dunk. I think the chance to pass is 50-50, which means I really have no clue. The materials were difficult, and were sent out a month late. The preparation was done in a hurry. (I barely finished reading through the prep questions once.) And I had to take the exam the second day after I returned from a week-long business trip in Asia.

I would be quite proud of myself if I actually pass this one. This would be remarkable if I could pull this off. Honestly, CAIA Level 2 is difficult and hardcore. When you have a large number of recent research publication compiled in the study materials, what do you expect?

If I don't pass the exam, I won't feel bad given the circumstance. I will still feel happy because I got in the Wharton EMBA program! :)
